Hương is an Early Childhood Educator and owner of Near and Dear School. Since 2010, she continues to enjoy working with children of all ages and diverse backgrounds to this very day. Hương's educational approach has been shaped by wonderful career experiences: the nature-based program at Avery House Nature Center, and The Nest, where she learned about RIE. 
  Hương is Vietnamese-American and speaks Vietnamese, English, un poco de Español, basic baby sign language, and knows how to say "thank you" in ten different languages :)
  In her free time, Hương daydreams about how we all can live together peacefully and responsibly on this beautiful Earth. She enjoys discovering the hidden gems of Portland and the PNW with her awesome husband, daughters, and dog--especially if it involves a beach, sightings of wild flora and fauna, and local made-with-love food.
